Justice for Malachi

The Issue

On the evening of April 5th, 2024, our precious Son Malachi’s life at15 years old was fatally robbed from him by a Reckless motorist that did not stop after striking Malachi (Cai).

Cai had a passion for physical activity including Muay-Thai, Wrestling, and working out. He also enjoyed sports cars and was looking forward to learning how to drive soon. He was proud of the fact that he was able to protect his loved ones and wanted to pursue that by one day serving his country. Cai was a rising star on the Clear Springs High School wrestling team and loved his classes at Gracie Barre muay-Thai. But most of all he loved his family and friends and had a very bright future ahead of him.

A bright future that we will not have the privilege to see, and he will not experience because of the driver that ran down our son on the 1800 block of Spencer Rd in Rosenberg, TX.

Marking that day of April 5th forever a sad day. Why did this driver hit our Son? Why was he speeding?why did he keep going down the road? Why when eventually stopping did he not render aid? Why wasn’t he paying attention to the road?

Many questions and yet there are no answers, no news, no charges that have been filed. Not even a traffic ticket, and even more important no justice for our Son!

Justic for Malachi must be heard and the Fort Bend County Sherrif’s office has this case and District Attorney Brian Middleton has yet to hold this reckless driver accountable for this tragic event.

This is unacceptable. We demand the driver be held accountable for Cai’s death as well as keeping this person off the road and potentially happening to someone else.

No life should ever be overlooked especially one of a child. Please don’t let this case go unheard and swept under the rug.

Time is of the essence.

Please sign this petition and join us in the search for Justice For Malachi Uriah Pompa Martinez.
