Justice for Loyola Plans Holders, Demand Transparency, Accountability and Immediate Action
The Issue
For years, thousands of Filipino families entrusted their hard-earned money and their futures to Loyola Plans Consolidated, Inc. But in 2019, the company was placed under conservatorship, then receivership, and is now in the final stage of liquidation.
Yet, after years of waiting, we have received nothing. The Insurance Commission (IC), the very body tasked with protecting our interests, has failed us.
This is not just a financial issue; it is a human rights issue. Elderly plan holders are waiting for their money for medical bills. Families are losing their life savings and their hopes for their children's education. The promised returns on our investments have turned into a black hole of silence and inaction.
Problem:
The liquidation process, overseen by the Insurance Commission, is riddled with issues:
Zero Transparency: The IC has not disclosed a single detail about the sale of Loyola Plans' assets. We have no idea which properties were sold, for how much, or who the buyers were. How can we trust that our money is being recovered fairly if everything is done in secret?
Unacceptable Delays: This process has dragged on for years. We demand to know why it is taking so long to return our money.
Lack of Accountability: We are asking for a public accounting of the liquidation team's operations. How many people are working on this? What are their salaries? Are they even doing the work needed to process the thousands of claims efficiently?
Our Demand:
We, the plan holders of Loyola Plans, call on the Ombudsman of the Republic of the Philippines to launch an immediate and full investigation into the liquidation process. We demand that the Insurance Commission:
Provide a full and public accounting of all assets sold to date, including the sale price and buyers.
Disclose the operational details of the liquidation team, including the number of employees and their roles.
Establish a clear, public, and aggressive timeline for the final distribution of our refunds.
Conclusion:
By signing this petition, you are not just helping one person; you are standing with thousands of Filipino families who have been wronged. You are telling the government that we will not tolerate this injustice and that we will hold them accountable for their failure to protect us.
Sign now and share this with everyone you know. Let's make our voices heard and get the justice we deserve!
