On March 12, 2026, my life was shattered when an airstrike targeted a civilian building, killing my brother Mohammad and his young daughter Talin (4 years old). They are among thousands of innocent Lebanese civilians who have paid the ultimate price in a devastating war.

Now, a new political agreement has emerged, attempting to enforce a halt to all legal actions in international courts against the perpetrators. This agreement effectively trades the blood of our loved ones for political settlements, granting de facto immunity to those who committed war crimes. Furthermore, as families of the victims seeking justice, we are facing intense intimidation, fabricated lawsuits, and campaigns of silencing by corrupt local networks who wish to exploit this tragedy for personal gain and bury the truth alongside our martyrs.

But justice cannot be bargained away in closed political rooms.

Under International Humanitarian Law (IHL), war crimes have no statute of limitations, and bilateral political treaties cannot strip individual victims of their right to seek accountability. We, the families of the victims, refuse to surrender our rights. We declare our "Zero Fear" stance.

We are launching this petition to form a united, independent front for the families of the victims. We are shifting our battle to European courts under the principle of "universal jurisdiction," which allows the prosecution of war criminals regardless of their nationality or political agreements.

Our Demand: We urgently call upon the UN Secretary-General, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and public prosecutors across Europe to:

• Reject any political agreement that grants immunity to war criminals.
• Open their doors to our legal files under universal jurisdiction.
• Protect the victims' families from local and systemic intimidation.

في 12 آذار 2026، استهدفت غارة جوية مبنى مدنياً، ما أسفر عن استشهاد أخي محمد وابنته الطفلة تالين (4 سنوات). وهما من بين آلاف المدنيين اللبنانيين الأبرياء الذين دفعوا الثمن الأغلى في هذه الحرب المدمرة.

اليوم، يطل علينا اتفاق سياسي جديد يحاول فرض "وقف جميع الأعمال القانونية في المحافل الدولية" ضد المرتكبين. هذا الاتفاق يساوم فعلياً على دماء أحبائنا لصالح تسويات سياسية، ويمنح حصانة واقعية لمن ارتكبوا جرائم حرب. علاوة على ذلك، وبصفتنا عائلات الضحايا الذين يبحثون عن العدالة، نواجه ترهيباً شديداً، ودعاوى كيدية، وحملات إسكات من قبل شبكات فساد محلية تسعى لاستغلال هذه المأساة لمكاسبها الشخصية ودفن الحقيقة مع شهدائنا.

لكن العدالة لا تُباع في الغرف السياسية المغلقة.

بموجب القانون الدولي الإنساني، جرائم الحرب لا تسقط بالتقادم، والمعاهدات السياسية الثنائية لا يمكنها أن تسلب الضحايا الأفراد حقهم في المحاسبة. نحن، عائلات الضحايا، نرفض التنازل عن حقوقنا. ونعلن اليوم وصولنا إلى مرحلة "صفر خوف".

نطلق هذه العريضة لتشكيل جبهة موحدة ومستقلة لأهالي الضحايا، وننقل معركتنا إلى المحاكم الأوروبية تحت مبدأ "الولاية القضائية العالمية" (Universal Jurisdiction)، والذي يسمح بمحاكمة مجرمي الحرب بغض النظر عن جنسيتهم أو أي اتفاق سياسي.

مطلبنا: نطالب الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة، والمفوض السامي لحقوق الإنسان، والمدعين العامين في أوروبا بـ:

• رفض أي اتفاق سياسي يمنح الحصانة لمجرمي الحرب.
• فتح أبواب محاكمهم لملفاتنا القانونية بموجب "الولاية القضائية العالمية".
• حماية عائلات الضحايا من الترهيب الممنهج محلياً.
