PLEASE HELP US GET THE JUSTICE KIA DESERVES!!!!

Kia is a Tri coloured American-Bully who is just under the age of 2. She was found neglected in the amazing community of NAVAN, ONT, on the corner of Russell Rd & Mcneely Rd. She was found in a fenced in area, outside (this specific breed can not survive the outdoors during our Canadian winters), full of garbage, no sign of life on the property, and with the house up for sale. My friend had found Kia while she was house hunting, and immediately called Animal Control. They advised her to take the dog, if she can provide for her vet care. When Kia was found, her collar was so outgrown, which led to her neck being cut and infected. It was so tight, they needed scissors to remove it……. Her chest was so infected, to the point where it was bleeding daily, her nails were so overgrown that her paws were yeast infected and the cuts in her pads were extremely deep. There was blood in her urine. She also had a miscarriage , which is why we believe this beautiful girl was neglected, because she couldn’t provide expensive puppies. My friend did everything in her power to ensure Kia was happy and healthy, paying hundreds in vet bills to ensure Kia could recover from the nasty neglect. 

The original “owner” has now filed his dog missing and wants her back….. Animal control took Kia away from my friend, while they do an investigation on the original “owner”.  They won’t tell my friend which shelter Kia is currently located at. We understand the precautions needed to ensure Kia is in the right hands and that she is safe , but the original “owner” did not ensure of that, which is why I made a petition to get Kia the justice that she deserves. After taking matters into our own hands, we found out that the original “owner” of Kia lives in Westboro, so what was Kia doing in Navan completely neglected with no shelter? 
My friend currently has a vet appointment on the 5th of December for Kia, that she refuses to give up, and would like to take her to it. 

This petition is for Kia and for her health and safety. Her living conditions when living with the original “owner” were disgusting and inhumane. Our hope this Christmas is for her to be in the hands of the women who RESCUED HER, and hopefully with enough evidence, they will have no choice but to revoke the original “owners” rights to be an animal owner.

With the Holidays just around the corner, it would be a Christmas miracle for Kia to be returned to the loving women who rescued her, and for all of Kias wishes come true!  We won’t stop fighting for you Kia !
