We, the undersigned, demand justice for Keneni Adugna.

   Keneni Adugna was a 25-year-old woman who was a highly educated engineer, model, and actress with a bright future ahead of her. She was known for her kindness, activism, and dedication to helping others, particularly advocating for women’s rights and supporting charities. Through her social media platforms, especially TikTok, Keneni used her voice to raise awareness and support for those in need. She actively helped people in Borena Zone, Ethiopia, during their difficult times and spoke out against the abduction of Ethiopian children, making her a powerful advocate for justice.

   Keneni was a symbol of hope and inspiration to many. Her sudden and tragic death has deeply hurt her loved ones and the entire Ethiopian community, leaving a gap that cannot be filled.💔

   According to Addis Ababa Police, on March 10, 2025, Keneni tragically lost her life after allegedly falling from the 5th-floor balcony of her apartment at Wudassie Condo in Lemi Kura, Addis Ababa. Musician Andualem Gossa, her partner who was present at the scene, was taken into custody and is currently under investigation.

However, Keneni’s family, friends, and the Ethiopian people have serious concerns about the circumstances surrounding her death.

⚠️ Suspicious Circumstances:

• During her funeral, Keneni’s parents revealed that she was not engaged to Andualem Gossa, despite claims that they were a couple.
• Photos released a week after her death showed bruises on Keneni’s face, raising suspicions of physical abuse.
• Friends shared troubling text messages from Keneni, where she expressed being tired, troubled, and facing difficulties.
• Despite the police’s promise to investigate her death thoroughly, there have been no clear updates, leaving her family and the public in the dark.
• There are growing fears that Andualem Gossa may be released without proper accountability.

⚠️ We are calling for:

• A complete and fair investigation into Keneni Adugna death.
• Justice for all involved if foul play is proven.
• Keeping evidence safe and making sure no one interferes.
• Regular updates on the investigation.
• Protecting Keneni’s family and friends from threats or harm.

     Keneni’s family and the Ethiopian people deserve the truth, and her tragic death highlights broader concerns about violence against women in Ethiopia and beyond. We stand united with international women's rights organizations in demanding justice. We will not stay silent until justice is served. Her death must not be ignored or forgotten.
