I am outrage by the lack of justice for children who have been molested by adults, whether they are family, friends or strangers and reguardless of sexual orientation, based on the current New York State laws. My daughter is a victim of molestation and I would like to see her attacker put behind bars. The police and the assistant district attorney office has closed this case without questioning or arresting anyone.This petition is to demand that New York State House of Represenatives address this injustice and nature to lead to a conviction. The law should be changed to include all sexual acts against a child weather or not the abuse is gratifying in any way.

This law as it stands is not fair for the many sexually molested children. Child molesters are getting off free without punishment due to lack of provable gratification. Children have rights as well, and it takes a parent like myself to stand up and be heard. These children need justice and peace of mind knowing their offender is behind bars. No child should have to live in fear of being attacked by an adult of any kind. Let's all ban together and sign this petition to allow these children to heal and feel safe. If we all stand together this law can be overturned.
