Subject: Urgent Call for Reopening the Investigation into the Disappearance and Death of Jordan Novak

We, the undersigned, are devastated and heartbroken about the tragic death of Jordan Novak, a beloved member of our community.

Facts of the Case:

On December 3, 2023, Jordan Novak, a resident of Mexico, NY, went missing from her home.

Despite the urgency expressed by her family, it took 26 days for local authorities to conduct a formal search for Jordan, which only occurred after relentless pleas from her loved ones.

During this critical waiting period, Jordan's family and friends organized their own search parties and distributed flyers throughout the community in hopes of finding Jordan.

Unfortunately, the collective efforts of the family, friends, and community were not enough to disseminate information widely; many local residents remained unaware of Jordan's plight.

Tragically, Jordan was found deceased in a pond behind her home on December 29, 2023—26 days after she went missing.

Call to Action:

We, the undersigned, seek justice for Jordan Novak and demand the following:

Reopen the Investigation: We call for a comprehensive and transparent reopening of the investigation into the circumstances surrounding Jordan's disappearance and death.

Accountability for Law Enforcement: We urge an investigation into the actions of Trooper D of Pulaski, NY, and any other involved personnel, to determine if appropriate protocols were followed and to understand the reasons behind the delay in initiating a formal search.

Community Awareness Initiatives: We advocate for initiatives that ensure missing person cases are disseminated urgently and effectively so that families facing similar situations are supported and have the community's help in locating their loved ones.

Policy Changes: We request policy changes within Pulaski Police Department and Local agencies to amend response and search protocols for missing persons, prioritizing timely action in such critical situations and to conduct an investigation on Troope D who was the leader of this investigation.

Jordan Novak's case highlights failures within our current systems that must be addressed to avoid similar tragedies in the future. We owe it to her memory and to her family to ensure that her case is thoroughly investigated and that justice is served.

Sign the Petition:

By signing below, we stand together in solidarity for Jordan Novak, her family, and all individuals who face the devastating experience of having a loved one go missing. Let us honor Jordan’s memory and fight for justice together. Thank you for your support!
