Hi my name is Mikayla Hildebrant, and back in 2019 our family almost suffered a horrible tragedy of losing my son due to the parental abuse of his biological father and his now ex-wife but at the time my son Jayce’s stepmother. Prior to this main incident I was at work one day when my stepmother received Jayce after being dropped off to our home by his father Shawn Palmer, when Jayce walked in my step mother observed a bruise in the shape of a handspring on his face, she proceeded to call me and notify me and also sent me photos. Unfortunately I don’t believe I have them anymore, I then proceeded to call 911 and CPS met me at our house as I left work immediately. When I arrived home upon discussing with CPS, a safety plan was put in place, and I was to withhold him for 6 days until and upcoming courtdate. At this courtdate he made claims that I was withholding Jayce so I provided all paperwork, that I was supposed to withhold him. The court person then ruled that I had to send him back to his father for the time he had been away, the next time I see my son after I had to put his screaming and crying self in the backseat of his car, my son was hooked to a ventilator in the PICU of Covenant, just days before Christmas. Prior arriving to the hospital I didn’t know Jayce was in the hospital until after he had been transferred from one hospital to another. Arriving at the hospital I was bumrushed by Police, doctors nurses. No one even had Jayce name spelled right and they couldn’t even pull his charts😞 While making up them 6 days Jayce suffered severe head injuries including a brain bleed, a skull fracture, and even had a seizure in the ambulance on the way to the hospital, THEY WAITED INTIL MY SON WAS UNRESPONSIVE BEFORE THEY CALLED 911, I almost lost my son because of Jaide Smith, and Shawn Palmer🤬 Help me get Justice for Jayce and sign this petition please and share with you friends
