This petition is to solve a cold case. My sister Jade Winston and brother Jerome Mitchell was both killed August 2007. Jade 18 years old at the time and a senior in high school died from a single gun shot wound and Jerome 22 years old father of 2 died in a suspicious car crash only 26 hours after Jade’s death. Jade’s death was ruled a homicide and the police is now saying that her death was accidental/suicide. They never looked into Jerome’s case although their was several witnesses that seen Jerome get ran off the road. Jerome also had a passenger that says he has not memory of what happened that night. Justice needs to be served and both cases need to be opened and re-evaluated.
