Justice for Emba, an ESA for Marine Veteran euthanized by City of Killeen, Texas.
The Issue
1) Investigation and publication of all actions, communications, documents, and procedures performed by City of Killeen staff, their positions, certifications, including all applicable policies and ordinances relating to the euthanasia of ESA Emba, owned by Marine Veteran Steven Cox, and culminating in corrective actions, responsibilities, and changes in personnel.
2) Implement third party evaluations of dogs deemed dangerous or aggressive by a certified animal behaviorist specializing in aggressive dangerous dogs.
3) Immediate return of Emba's ESA vest to owner, Steven Cox.
4) Provide medical attention for Conundrum after being exposed to Parvovirus and Giardia while in the care of the City of Killeen Animal Shelter in Killeen, Texas.
5) Financial restitution to Marine Veteran Steven Cox, for killing his Certified Emotional Support Animal.
