JUSTICE for Elephant Noor Jehan

JUSTICE for Elephant Noor Jehan
The Issue
Justice for today Animals will be the Justice for future. The animals deserve to be free from suffering and exploitation. No animals should be kept in a cage, without natural light, proper food, fresh air, and a healthy environment. The Study demonstrates that animals in Asia are among the most abused in the world. In developing countries like Pakistan, animal exploitation is intolerable. In a sick society like Pakistan people use animals in the way what they want. The animals in confinement are used as a source of entertainment, which clearly shows that there is the existence of humans but not humanity. In Pakistan, The prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, of 1890 makes it a crime to beat, kick, torture, or cruelly kill animals. It is illegal to confine, override, overload, or work unfit animals. Sections 3 to 5 of this Act imposed responsibility on the provincial governments to protect both wildlife and captive animals from unnecessary harm and negative effect on the health of the animals including beating, overriding., starvation, thirst, or ill-treatment to animals. As a citizen of this sick society I deeply apologize for the inhuman way of human acts with these voiceless creatures and Condemn these living life behind bars. It is our legal as well as ethical responsibility to respect the rights of these living creatures, to stop unnecessary harm, and to show mercy and kindness with them. Treat them as loyal friends, not as laborers.
Exploitation of Elephant Noor Jehan
The 17-year-old Noor Jehan in captivity at Karachi Zoo self-harm due to frustration and constant confinement.
JUSTICE for Noor Jehan
Animals have natural rights and are entitled to protection under the law. It is legally wronged to exploit elephants in captivity for personal gain. The 17-year-old Elephant Noor Jehan being kept in a small place for education and entertainment leads her life to misery and indignity. She became paralyzed due to the unhealthy and exploited environment. She has lived in captivity and performed entertainment for over 12 years. 12 years of confinement in circuses and zoos with poor nutrition, lack of hygiene, light, ventilation, and constant stress and trauma made her life painful. Exploiting her for human entertainment is not only morally but also legally wrong and a violation of laws like The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1890. Thus this needs strong legal action and protection is clear and shows kindness , mercy and stops cruelty. So from today sign this petition to "say no animals for confinement and entertainment" and Condemn a "Life Behind Bars".
