I’m absolutely furious.

My son David was deliberately set on fire. He has serious burns to his chest, back, neck, and face. His skin peeled away. He was on a ventilator, fighting for his life. He’s now in hospital undergoing painful skin grafts and facing a long recovery.

And the man who did this?
He walked out of court with a CURFEW.
Not jail. Not remand. Just a bloody curfew.

This man has a history of violence — attacking men and women — and now he’s free, walking around while my son lies in a hospital bed in pain.

What kind of justice system allows this?
How is this protecting anyone?

I’ve had enough of staying quiet.
I’m starting a petition to demand this man is put where he belongs — in prison.
He’s a danger to the public and should never have been granted bail.
