Justice for Daniel & The Waterman Family

Justice for Daniel & The Waterman Family
The Issue
On February 9, 2025, 22-year-old Daniel Waterman suffered catastrophic injuries after a crash on I-95 in Flagler County, Florida. According to investigators, Daniel was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Leigha Mumby when, following an argument, she allegedly accelerated to speeds of 90-95 mph before crashing into a tree without braking.
Daniel endured unimaginable suffering. He spent months fighting for his life, including time in a medically induced coma. After briefly regaining consciousness, Daniel communicated to investigators using a letter board that the crash was intentional. Tragically, on October 8, 2025, Daniel passed away due to complications from the injuries he sustained in the crash. A day that will forever be etched into the memories of those who loved and cared for Daniel.
Following his death, the charges against Mumby were upgraded from aggravated battery to vehicular homicide.
Daniel’s family has been forced to endure not only the pain of losing a son, brother, and loved one, but also ongoing legal battles surrounding his daughter and the pursuit of accountability in court. No family should have to fight this hard simply to have their loved one’s life valued.
While other high-profile cases receive national attention, Daniel’s story matters too. His life mattered. His family matters. Justice should not depend on media coverage or public trends.
We are asking, BEGGING the State of Florida and all parties involved in this case to pursue justice fully, fairly, and transparently for Daniel Waterman and his family. We stand with the Waterman family as they continue this painful fight for accountability, truth, and the protection of Daniel’s legacy. The Waterman Family has done so much for our community, it’s time we give back.
NO MORE CONTINUANCES. It’s time for her to face the music!!
Daniel deserved a future. His daughter deserves to know who her father was. His family deserves peace. And Daniel deserves justice.
Please sign and share to help keep awareness on this case and support the Waterman family during their fight for justice.
