Hello I'm a truck driver and a active hiker runner, son, brother and a human just like you.

 Just because I drive a truck for a living doesn't mean I'm just a truckie. I'm also a human being like this driver who lost his life to McQuillan who decided to do class A drugs and get behind a wheel of a motor vehicle. 

Craig Searle was just going his job like many of us do on a daily basis.

 I don't know him but many of us in the industry have a passion for making a difference in our communities and love transporting goods and services to customers. 

On this faithful day Craig was behind the wheel of a large semi truck hauling machinery when McQuillan caused the truck to crash off the side of the bridge killing Craig. 

McQuillan has only been given 12 months of home detention. If a truckie were to cause the accident it would be a completely different outcome. 

It's a double standard that needs to be addressed.
