I just wanted to touch base and remind everyone of the peaceful protest August 11th for the next hearing! I know it’s been a little quiet on our end, but we haven’t forgotten.

IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO HAVE PEOPLE COME. The biggest impact we can make right now is to keep the news interested by having a huge turnout calling for justice. Judges and prosecutors are elected officials. We need to let our voices be heard and let these elected officials know that we don’t want to see them go easy on people capable of murdering an innocent puppy.

Also, the more people that show up, the more attention Senate Bill 164 gets. This will help ensure animal abusers are more likely to get jail time by classifying the acts as a violent crime and as a felony 4. Unfortunately, jail time is rare with the current laws.

The event is listed in the Facebook group, as well as the website. We are meeting at 8:30am outside the justice center in Cleveland, Ohio on August 11th.
