Christopher Reddick ("Brilho") was a cherished member of the Maui community and a dear friend to many. His sudden and tragic death has left a void in our lives that cannot be filled. On December 16, 2023, Christopher was brutally assaulted in his home on the island of Maui and subsequently murdered. The violence and cruelty of such an act is unimaginable and unacceptable.

It has now been 23 months since this horrific event, yet justice remains elusive. The perpetrator still walks free while our community is left to grapple with their grief without closure. This is not only heartbreaking but utterly unacceptable. We, the community of Maui and supporters from afar, must unite see that justice is done.

We urge the Maui District Attorney to prioritize this case and bring charges against those responsible for this brutal act.

The lack of accountability in this matter is a disservice to the community and does not honor the life of a young man who had so much potential and love to give. We owe it to Brilho's memory to ensure that those responsible for his death are held accountable for their actions. Brilho had a full life left to live and that life was stolen from him. Selecting justice for Christopher Reddick sends a clear message that violence and injustice have no place in our community.
