Justice for an Innocent Man Wrongfully Imprisoned in Louisiana!

Justice for an Innocent Man Wrongfully Imprisoned in Louisiana!
The Issue
Louisiana must be the most dangerous in all of the United States currently. Laws are changed quickly to prevent anyone incarcerated from ever seeing the outside of prisons. Please help share this case and the many others suffering in overcrowded facilities across the state. Here is a little about Jason’s case:
1. Jason is innocent and there is evidence to prove that to be a fact.
2. The state relied on testimony from several witnesses: one who was evading charges herself and 2 witnesses who were transported from jails, including one who refused to take the stand several times stating that he had no knowledge of the case and refused to lie as he was being asked to do.
3. Jason had a list of character witnesses, and none were called upon to testify to his whereabouts or the case details. Not to imply racism, but two of his witnesses were his girlfriend and her brother-in-law, who were both black, whereas the witnesses that were brought in from jails on the state's behalf were white. The two black individuals were highly upstanding citizens, pillars of their community, and business owners. Their testimony surely should have held more weight than the state's choices.
4. The evidence was not tested in its entirety but did point to one of the state's witnesses whose DNA was found at the scene. There was a palm print on the murder weapon tested by four experts hired by the state, and each excluded Jason Hacker. He was completely excluded through science.
5. Jason has suffered for over 27 years and maintains behavior fitting of a Class A Trustee and has for his entire incarceration.
6. The jury was undecided in this case, and according to the United States Supreme Court rulings, this is unconstitutional. Jason's inability to afford a defense created room for his rights as a citizen to a fair trial to be violated.
7. A murderer is either free with the potential to hurt others or incarcerated for some unrelated reason. This leaves no true justice for the two victims and their loved ones in this case.
8. When tested, the articles remaining untested will reveal the truth. We need this case to be reviewed and for there to be compassion shown to this man who was wrongly convicted.
9. Louisiana's incarceration rates are the highest in the nation and quickly rising under the current governor. The number of people convicted despite NOT having a unanimous decision by a jury in Louisiana is almost 1,000 individuals if not more. Although there was some hope given this year for relief for the Jim Crow cases, all hope was quickly yanked away by the legislators and they voted against doing what is fair and just for the people incarcerated with non-unanimous jury rulings.
10. In following the science of this case instead of hearsay, the evidence points to justice for the two individuals who lost their lives in addition to providing relief for an unjustly convicted man. The evidence proves that Jason Hacker is innocent of this crime.
Our duty as a compassionate society is to ensure that justice is served, even when it means confronting the failures of our legal system.
Together, we can make a difference and secure Jason Hacker's freedom after so much of his life has been stolen from him.
