The Issue

The night of March 15, 2025, I was struck by a city vehicle which was operated from a man named Yusuff afeez abiodun, Who then fled the scene And left me on the street to suffer… there were two men who rushed to my aide to see if I were OK, they called the ambulance and the police had showed up… when they showed up, I was in shock could not understand the situation and I was very scared… they accuse me of being drunk so right away they didn’t think this was an accident. They thought I on purposely put myself in that situation. at the time I wasn’t sure of any of my injuries until I got to the hospital. They rushed me for surgery I had a broken pelvis, broken ribs And a broken collarbone with lacerations all over my body and a black breast, which had been severely bruised from when I was underneath that 3,500 lb vehicle… when the police finally caught him, they took him in, and he told the police that he thought I was a curb, which automatically ruled as an accident

The police have told me they’ve been watching him for over a month hidden his name from me because they felt the need to cover him up and keep his name safe instead of my life… The city workers Life mattered more than my own when I could’ve been dead on that street.
the courts are asking to have him fined and have his license taken away for a year…

Over 300 pedestrian deaths occur annually with no criminal charges laid!
I’m sure if it were the police or courts child of their own they would have go beyond to have this person behind bars, but because I am a minority, an Indigenous woman, a mother! I am being treated like a piece of trash on the street…

Today I am doing this petition In hopes that it helps me in court July 15th through the 17th To have him put behind bars and get my justice.
I am doing this for the lives that aren’t here today Who were involved in such cases like mine, Who have never got their justice, The laws need a change, Because we are human beings.

My goal is to sue him and have him behind bars.
