The Issue

On the afternoon of December 9th, 2025, my childhood friend Alfie Sibley was murdered in Ewell. a day forever etched in the memories of all who knew and loved him. The dreadful loss of Alfie, who was full of life and had so much more to give to the world, has left his family and friends in unimaginable grief and heartbreak. Despite the profound impact of this tragedy, the justice system has failed to deliver the justice Alfie and his family so rightfully deserve.

After a four-week trial at the crown court, the overwhelming evidence presented, detailed forensic reports, numerous witness statements, and chilling CCTV footage capturing Alfie's last moments was not enough to convict those responsible for his death. This miscarriage of justice has not only allowed Alfie's murderers to walk freely among us but has also aggravated the pain and suffering of those left behind, whose lives have been irreparably altered by this heinous act.

We are starting this petition to demand a reopening of the case, urging law enforcement and the judicial system to re-evaluate the evidence with full diligence and bring the responsible parties to justice. Alfie’s murder resulted not only in the loss of a beloved son, friend and community member but also in a breach of trust in our justice system a system that should protect the innocent and convict the guilty.

Instances of unsolved and unprosecuted crimes erode public trust and safety. By signing this petition, you are supporting a call for justice not just for Alfie, but for all victims whose voices have been silenced. You are advocating for a reassessment of the current legal evaluation process to ensure it is thorough, unbiased, and effective in delivering rightful justice.

Justice delayed is justice denied. We urge the authorities to take prompt action to restore faith in the community and bring closure to Alfie's family and friends, who live with the weight of this injustice every day. Please sign this petition and stand with us as we seek the justice that honors Alfie's life and legacy.
