Really good article by Richard Morgan concerning Alfie's plight.  It gets across the essence of the issue.  

However, Newport City Council Education Authority keep responding to these articles saying that they turned down 93 applications.  They neglect to mention that 92 of those applications were from out of catchment. Alfie is the only in catchment child, ever, not to get a place.
