Adrian David Langlais, Was sadly taken from this world on the day after his second birthday which fell on March 18th 2015. Over a month later his mother’s boyfriend Christian Tyrrell would be arrested on a warrant for Capital Murder. Adrian’s was taken to cook children’s hospital visible on his body were, bruises, multiple skull fractures and visible bite marks. Tyrrell admitted to spanking Adrian on the 17th of March, due to the fact Adrian refused to eat his lunch. This had apparently been an ongoing issue . After Spanking Adrian Tyrell said he placed him in his play pen. Tyrell tried again to get Adrian to eat and once again he refused and was placed in time out. Adrian’s mother Jessica Langlias admitted to police she heard  Tyrrell screaming at Adrian and Adrian crying.  Christian then brought Adrian to Jessica, at which time she saw that Adrian has a black eye and bruising on his face," read an arrest warrant for Tyrrell. She also observed that Adrian could not keep his eyes open and his eyes kept rolling into the back of his head She aid her boyfriend claimed to have found the child lying on the ground outside the playpen when he went into the room to get the child. Tyrrell later told police he believed Adrian had fallen backwards out of the playpen.  Langlais said he didn't eat that night and vomited the next day after he ate a banana. She also said the child couldn't stand on his own and acted sleepy. The following day Tyrell dropped her off at work and she said Adrian couldn’t lift his head and only opened his eyes when she kissed him good bye. Adrian then suffered a seizure and was transported to the hospital due to the seizure and his breathing stopped. He was placed in a medically induced coma due to severe swelling of the brain and bleeding on the brain, he later died. The  cause of death would later be determined as  blunt force trauma to the head.

According to records authorities found searches on Tyrrell's phone that included "how to tell if someone has went brain dead" and "toddler can't walk or use right side after hitting head. CPS had been involved and would later close the case due to “not enough evidence to construe abuse”

 Both a section of the wall and carpet were removed from the house.

Adrians mother did nothing, for fourteen long hours Adrian laid in his bed confused and in pain. We as friends and family want to see his mother arrested , possibly charged with accessory to murder, gross criminal negligence, and officially charged with child endangerment, failure to seek medical attention in a reasonable amount of time and second degree murder.

We would also like to have a law made in Adrian’s name, ensuring that immunity is NOT granted to women or men who know that someone is abusing and or neglecting their child and or disabled adult child who testify against the abuser. Immunity being granted to these persons is not only a slap in the face to the surviving family members, but a poor oversight of morality. If a person knowingly allows abuse to occur, they are just as guilty as the abuser.

We would also like for additional regulations as to how CPS handles allegations of abuse to be handled, up and including that a case worker be removed if the person who raises the alarm feels that their concerns are not being taken seriously, and a new case worker assigned to the case.
