Join us for the biggest Afghanistan-focused event of 2023.

On August 15th -the two year anniversary of the fall of Kabul- the Afghan, Veteran and NGO communities will come together at Georgetown University's historic Gaston Hall to bring Afghanistan back into America's consciousness.

In partnership with Moral Compass Federation and Resettlement Action DC (REACT DC) the 1208 Foundation will explore Afghanistan's past, present, and future through the eyes of those who were there, and those who are still active in shaping the country's future and safeguarding it's people. This event will feature a wide (and still growing) array of speakers and performers who best represent the last four-plus decades of the US-Afghan experience.

Heart of an Ace Inc (501c3) will run a concurrent showing of their successful 'Art of War' art series, and a documentary featuring the 1208 Foundation will be screened prior to the main event.
