Justice for 117 Animals Abandoned to Die in Northglenn

The Issue

117 animals—96 cats and 19 dogs—were found abandoned to die in horrific conditions inside a Northglenn, Colorado home.

Two were already dead.

The rest were trapped in cages or roaming a home filled with filth, waste, and destruction.

These animals didn’t just need rescuing—they need justice.

We’re calling on the Northglenn Police Department and local prosecutors to pursue the strongest possible charges against the person responsible.

Ensure this individual is barred from owning animals for life and support Riverdale Animal Shelter’s efforts to provide care, recovery, and safe adoption for every surviving animal.

This level of cruelty is not just a violation of law—it’s a betrayal of the trust and care every animal deserves. Without accountability, this will happen again.

The public has stepped up with donations, adoptions, and support. Now the legal system must step up too.

Tell Northglenn officials: Fully prosecute this case, protect the rescued animals, and make sure this never happens again.
