Justice Cannot Wait. Every Woman Deserves Safety, Dignity, and Timely Protection.

Justice Cannot Wait. Every Woman Deserves Safety, Dignity, and Timely Protection.

The Issue

Every 3 minutes, a crime against a woman is recorded in India. Behind every statistic is a real person — a daughter, a sister, a mother — whose life changed forever while the system moved slowly, indifferently, or not at all.

Many women never report. Not because nothing happened. But because they've seen what happens when they do — disbelief, delays, judgment, and a legal process that can stretch for years while the trauma stays fresh every single day.

This is not acceptable. And it is not inevitable.

We are calling on the Government of India to take the following actions — immediately:

✔ Fast-track courts for crimes against women in every district — with time-bound verdicts

✔ Trained female police officers available 24/7 at every station for sensitive cases

✔ Anonymous, safe reporting systems so fear of exposure never stops a woman from seeking help

✔ Free legal aid for every survivor — from the first complaint to the final verdict

✔ Mandatory mental health support at all One-Stop Centres, hospitals, and shelters

✔ Stronger emergency helpline response — 112 and 181 must work reliably, every time

✔ Cyber-crime cells dedicated to online harassment, stalking, and threats against women

✔ Consent and safety education made mandatory in schools, colleges, and workplaces

This petition is not against any person, community, or gender. It is against a system that consistently fails women at their most vulnerable moments. We believe India has the laws — what is missing is consistent, urgent, compassionate implementation.

A safer India for women is a better India for everyone.

When women are protected, families are healthier. When justice is fast, crimes reduce. When survivors are supported, they heal — and rebuild.

If you believe that no woman should have to choose between her safety and her silence — sign this petition today and share it.

Every signature is a message to those in power: this matters, and we are watching.
