Day 205th of my 3rd #HungerStrike Outside UNHCR Office — Outcome of My Pleadings With the Global Fund for Forgotten People for Emergency Funding.

Whereas years of my pleadings with the United Nations, the Hostage-takers and denier of this Hostage-taking in Greece and throughout Europe for the provision of legal aid have all purposely remained unanswered, so have all my pleadings for emergency life-saving assistance.

One of those organizations that has recently declined my request for an emergency grant is called “the Global Fund for Forgotten People.” I addressed a request for assistance to them on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2022 and sent two follow-up emails before I could finally get a reply that was sent this morning, which neither is inspiring nor empowering, but actually quite the opposite of both.

As you would read from the 3rd Paragraph of their email, the organization claims my request for assistance does not fall within their guidelines in order to provide any assistance to my cause. The rest of their reply can be read from the attached screenshot below or above.

“Unfortunately, your request falls outside our guidelines for support and we will therefore be unable to consider your application for a grant.”

Although I sent another email to them right after I saw their reply today, and asked either for my application to be reconsidered or at least my request to be forwarded to another organization, but whether they do either of those, remains to be seen. However, I highly suspect they would take any further action in this regard. Because, helping isn't one of those things on their to do list when it comes to Refugees with Middle Eastern or African Backgrounds.

Hence, as my struggle for acquiring an emergency grant elsewhere still continues, so is my 3rd Hunger Strike and all the pain and trauma that comes with it. Although, I am now enduring day 205th, yet still remain completely without genuine solidarity and support, sufficient Donations and even basic necessities which all together have created the perfect condition for my demise.

Imagine yourself in complete isolation, deprived of all and everything all together for many consecutive years with no end in sight. What would this do to you and all aspects of your life? If you get any under such circumstances, which clearly you won’t.

It is of utmost importance that it is known that entering this my current Hunger Strike was never a choice, but rather something that has ruthlessly been forced on me, with the ultimate aim of starving me to death, covering everything up and shamelessly blame it all on me.

I have been without cash again for nearly two weeks. The only thing that helped me a bit with buying essentials during this time was two other coupons; each worth 10 Euros; brought to me by Mr. Younes Mohamaddi, an Afghan descent who is also the director of the Greek Forum for Refugees. But those also ran out. I'm not sure if he will bring more or not, but sometimes it takes a long time for those coupons to reach me and I often have to request several times, not that they bring them to me on a regular basis to meet my needs even when they are fully aware of my plight here at the door of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Athens, Greece.

As for the Donations contributed to my Fundraising Campaign so far; at last with a lot of difficulties and weeks of delay and with the help of a friend, currently a member of my Fundraising team, I finally managed to proceed with my first withdrawal of funds from there, which if everything goes well, about half of what is raised there could be materialized and become available to me in the coming days.

But that’s hardly enough to take me to the end of the month, hence the struggle for my survival and acquiring an emergency grant elsewhere still continues.

Which is why I need all the support I could get not just with publicity and raising awareness of my dire situation here but also with both of my Campaigns.
