Today, Wednesday, December 15th, 2021, as I have entered day 93rd of my 3rd—Hunger Strike Outside #UNHCR Office in Athens, Greece, I had once again reached out to the organization’s top officials, both in Geneva and Athens, to demand an immediate end to this over 7-years-long Hostage taking and my complete deprivation in Greece.
I am truly in a very dire situation, and death could strike at any given moment. Counting the number of days from my first (64-days, 2017) and second (73-days, 2020) Hunger Strikes here, thus far I have been on 230-days-long Hunger Strike in this exact location since the start of my protest on March 21st, 2017.
Yet, my dire situation still remains unresolved. This could only indicate, what I have been saying for years is absolutely true. That they have colluded with other entities to starve me to death and cover it up. Which basically is the reason why they have been procrastinating for all these years.
The Christmas and New Year’s holidays are fast approaching. Though thanks to some little Donations from abroad, I managed to get myself another blanket and new Multivitamins and Electrolytes, but still it wasn’t enough to get warm clothes or a heater in order to keep warm. Due to lack of solidarity and support, I also haven’t been able to take a shower in over 3 months.
As last week we got past 3, 000 signatures for my online Petition. I also spent some of the Donations on printing a new Graphic for my banner in front of my shelter outside the UNHCR office to reflect these updates on it.
Aside from those changes in the number of raised signatures, I also added one of my recent photos, depicting my current Physical State, on its layout.
I want to seek this opportunity to thank all those generous Donors who have helped to make this happen.
I sent the new design to a Print shop on Monday and got the Graphic yesterday evening and managed to do the replacement today.
I also want to thank Jyri Pitkänen who came and helped with taking new Photoshoots today while I was working on replacing the older Graphic on my Banner.
I am not certain OR not I will survive these excruciating circumstances, but sufficient solidarity and support, I find no other chooses other than continuing my Hunger Strike.
Nothing like this should happen to anyone, anywhere, and no one should be put through a situation like this.
Please do not turn blind eyes on this ongoing #atrocity. Having taken every shred of my #dignity and #honor, they are now coming after my #life.
This is a dire emergency. Please do not be indifferent and ignorant to what is happening here and take action now.
