While I have entered day 89th of my 3rd—Hunger Strike outside #UNHCR today, I was also called to a Police Station far away from my shelter for a deposition regarding the horrendous incidents occurred a while back at the #Syntagma Police Station, where:
- They broke one of my Phones and wiped everything from the second one.
- They also assaulted me, at least on 5 occasions and even tried to rape and murder me for complaining against the officers who had damaged my property.
- At first, I was assaulted by one officer, then another one, and then five officers at once. They were kicking and punching me and while three OR four of them pressing and holding me down on a couch with Iron bars, one of them practicing rape gesture on me. After this stage, they still continued mocking and harassing me for demanding to file a report.
- Lastly, before I was being let go, I was once again assaulted by two of the previous officers at once. While in handcuffs one of them was pressing and holding my head down on the sofa and the other one placed a pillow on top of my head, blocking all the airways and trying to suffocate me.
In a sense the last assault was basically an attempted murder by the Police. Perhaps an approximate replica of what happened to #GeorgeFloyd in #America, only with the exception that I didn’t die from Police’s aggressions, at least not this time.
Hence, without any doubt, these have been one of the most traumatic experiences of my life since 2014.
Having offered my testimony today at the Police Station which comes about three months after lodging a Complaint with the Greek Ombudsman the day after the incidents occurred, but they didn’t provide a written copy of my testimony, which doesn't seem to be right.
Nothing like this should happen to anyone, anywhere, and no one should be put through a situation like this.
Please do not turn blind eyes on this ongoing #atrocity. Having taken every shred of my #dignity and #honor, they are now coming after my #life.
This is a dire emergency. Please do not be indifferent and ignorant to what is happening here and take action now.
