Today, Friday, December 17th, 2021, I have entered day 95th of my 3rd—Hunger Strike Outside #UNHCR Office in Athens, #Greece.
I am truly in a very dire situation, and death could strike at any given moment. Counting the number of days from my first (64-days, 2017) and second (73-days, 2020) Hunger Strikes here, thus far I have been on 232-days-long Hunger Strike in this exact location since the start of my protest on March 21st, 2017.
Yet, my dire situation still remains unresolved. This could only amplify the truth to what I have been calling out for many years. That is, they have colluded with other entities to ultimately #starve me to #death and cover it up. This is basically why they have been #procrastinating for all these years and also why my case and my dire situation has not been picked-up by any of the mainstream media outlets.
Although in pursuit of seeking help, yesterday, I had once again written to both the Prime Minister of #Canada and Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship in order to plead for urgent help and intervention, but other than having my email being forwarded to the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship by the Prime Minister’s office for consideration, I have not gotten a much better response that the one from 2017.
This is the second time that the office of Prime Minister of Canada had replied to my pleadings, yet, still it is not known whether OR not Canada will eventually respond positively to this pressing Humanitarian Appeal and thereby help bring an end to these many years of endless #torment I had so ruthlessly and unjustifiably been put through.
What is clear, though, is that while my daily struggle with #life/#death still continues, as part of my complete and systemic #deprivation in Greece, which also includes the most basic necessities, I have been unable to take a #shower in over 3-months. Because there is literally no place where I could visit regularly to take a shower and do my laundry.
Having been drained of all my own resources, I am now unable to afford to pay for #shampoos OR #detergents. Sometimes I cannot even afford toilet papers. Even my survival since last year, which is now becoming more and more difficult day after day had only been possible by relying on other people's little #Donations from abroad.
The #dirt and #wrinkles on my clothes are more evident in the pictures I shared today. Although they really stink and I am not comfortable at all wearing them, but seems I have no other choice.
Most of the help I get here is coming from abroad. Photographer #Jyri_Pitkänen who is one of those people who has been helping me out with Photos during my current Hunger Strike, had visited me again at my shelter today and took a new series of Photoshoots from my current Physical State before heading back to his homeland #Finland for #Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
I am not certain whether OR not, I will survive these #excruciating circumstances, especially during the days and weeks ahead as my current Hunger Strike still continues.
But if my #starvation here was inevitable, as I have formally written to #UNHCR, that I should be #cremated and the ashes of my body be poured into the Aegean Sea to symbolize that I wish I had never made it to this ugly place in search of refuge.
Nothing like this should happen to anyone, anywhere, and no one should be put through a situation like this.
Please do not turn blind eyes on this ongoing #atrocity. Having taken every shred of my #dignity and #honor, they are now coming after my #life.
This is a dire emergency. Please do not be indifferent and ignorant to what is happening here and take action now.
