The government has decided to put a stop to decorating for Christmas in care settings, claiming it’s an infection control risk. I believe our elderly and vulnerable adults have been through enough this year. They haven’t been able to see there families, hug their children, grandchildren or even their husbands and wives! Decorating boosts mood, allows them something to look forward to and is a very good sensory activity. I’ve started this petition for the government to change and see that the positive out ways the negative vastly in this situation.
