Julian Summers span the high 80's & low 90's each year leaving residence little options to stay fit and healthy during the day.  Our senior community is looking for a place to swim laps, parents are currently driving their kids an hour or more to the closest community pools in Poway, Santee, or Borrego Springs.  Several campgrounds have a pool however due to liability they do not open it to the public.  The local Middle and High School does not have a way for their youth to compete on a swim team or club swim and plans to build a pool / rec center are in the millions.  The High School's Gym isn't large enough to host Sports finals / CIF thus Julian kids are at a disadvantage both for health and competitive sports in comparison to other schools.  A community pool would open the doors for our youth to club swim, learn & practice swim safety, & health benefits.  Let's fight obesity, diabetes, heart problems now preventatively for our future generations.
