Joe & the Juice should pay its NY state juicers $2.00 more than they are currently paid: $18/hr instead of $16/hr. 

This would massively reduce turnover by making employee compensation competitive with Starbucks. 

Joe is trending and expanding; adding new menu items and opening new stores. The workers should share in this increased profit, which directly results from our daily labor and voluntary effort. We need to retain our talented and skilled workers. 

We deserve this. Food service is a vital public service that requires diligent and informed effort from those who provide it. This job requires extensive technical knowledge of machinery and constant effort towards optimizing the customer experience.

We sacrifice time spent with family and friends in order to execute our duty to this vocation, every single day. Compensation is just.
