Why this petition matters

Started by Alexis Mister

I have known Charlton Miller for well over 12 years. He is a kind and sincere individual. He has a non existent criminal record. He was a star athlete in his High School years. He has continued to be a strong support for all of his friends and family. This is an individual that can brighten up any room, was raised on a great foundation with strong Christian morals, and possesses a genuine personality. Charlton has unfortunately been serving the past 7 months in county jail on child abuse charges for a crime that he did not commit. The charges he is facing do not fall in line with this man’s character. He is innocent and being unfairly punished. Charlton was expecting to see a trial hearing earlier this fall and was manipulated into entering an Alford plea for fear of additional charges being issued to him. After Charlton agreed to enter a plea in hopes that his last opportunity would be to get approved for probation or parole, the prosecution team then falsified information to the parole board. Charlton has been fighting his charges for roughly four years. This matter has been very clearly handled unjustly. Charlton has a fiancé, 6 daughters, a God fearing grandmother, a supportive and dedicated mother, 3 brothers, many cousins, and several friends anxiously awaiting his release. He is loved and missed dearly. Please help us bring him home!

By signing this petition, you are stating that you believe Charlton Miller to be innocent and that he is deserving of an opportunity to be released as he does not pose a threat to any child or our community.
