Child Abuse justice for the Harman Children

Child Abuse justice for the Harman Children
The Issue
On March 11, 2021, Rhonda McClendon Hill Allen was found guilty of two counts of child abuse in a Lee County, Alabama courtroom. This means the jury found Ms. Allen guilty of harm to a child's health on one occasion. Mrs. Allen will face sentencing on April 27, 2021.
As a community, we would like to show our support to the Honorable Judge Christopher Hughes and encourage him to sentence Mrs. Allen to the strictest sentencing guidelines available. The Harman children have endured trauma that without purposeful and prayerful intervention will continue to impact generations. We implore you to be the catalyst that will allow these children to begin true healing. Please sentence Mrs. Allen to serve an amount of time behind bars that as children they will not have to look over their shoulders for her in fear.
