Judge William Adams should not be permitted to return to the bench. He is not fit to preside over child protective cases. As seen in a video from 2004, he himself displays actions of a child abuser. The only reason he has not been charged, although this video is enough to bring charges against him, is due to the five year statues limitations.

As stated in USA Today:
"Aransas County Court-at-Law Judge William Adams likely would have been charged with causing injury to a child or other assault-related offenses for the 2004 beating of his then-16-year-old daughter, but the five-year statutes of limitations expired, Rockport Police Chief Tim Jayroe said.

"We believe that there was a criminal offense involved and that there was substantial evidence to indicate that and under normal circumstances … a charge could have been made," Jayroe said.

To allow Judge William Adams to return to the bench would be an extremely unjust act, legally, morally and ethically. His job is to protect children, yet he abuses his own child. Judge William Adams needs to be behind bars for abuse, not sitting behind the bench representing the legal system and determining who is and is not an abusive parent!
