I believe that the quality of life for the Citizens of the United States of America would benefit greatly from a shorter work week. Since schools across the country are implementing 4 day school weeks, those parents who are employed should also have the choice to work 4 days a week instead of the traditional 5 day work week. I believe this would decrease stress and increase the morale for all full time employees and would give everyone an extra day to spend with their families and loved ones. Employers could still require 40 hours a week but would now have to allow their employees the opportunity to make up those hours within the 4 day time frame.
