We all know the pain when purchasing a new house. We usually pay the deposit and after that we have to pay for stamp duty and it can dig deep into our pockets depending on the price of the property. Stamp Duty is one of the reasons many of us struggle to get a step into the property market because it is putting ordinary Australians thousands of dollars out off pocket and scrapping it would result in a greater boom in the property market and more buyers saving their hard earned money to put to good use.
