The Town Deputy Commissioner of Economic Development Jim McCaffrey has kept All HIcksville Residents in the Dark as to many Commercial Projects planned on the Already Congested and Heavily Trafficked Hamlet. A Downtown Revitalization Plan was announced 4 years ago. That plan was never started. Apparently the Design and Funding has been changed without Full Community Input. On Tuesday February 8th a Hearing is being held at the Inconvenient time of 10:00am at Town Hall to Change Zoning without PROPERLY ALERTING  ALL RESIDENTS.

The Town of Oyster Bay needs to Stop allowing Over Development of Major Distribution Centers causing more and more Tractor Trailers from congesting the already congested main arteries of limited roadways. In addition the Town of Oyster Bay by not ENFORCING TOWN CODE is allowing ILLEGAL APARTMENTS, Congested side streets with illegal renters cars, overcrowded schools and dangerous living conditions. The Illegal Apartments is also causing garbage on streets and extra work for Town Sanitation. The Abundance of Cars from Illegal Apartments makes it nearly impossible to properly plow the roads during snow events such as this past storm on January 30th. The Towns Quality of life Task Force is Non Existent. We the Residents DEMAND A COMMUNITY MEETING WITH TOWN OFFICIALS and ALL THREE COUNTY LEGISLATORS in which the RESIDENTS CAN ASK Questions and get answers!
