“My name is Joseph Rhone.  I am currently serving a Life-Sentence (Death By Incarceration). I am an innocent man; a man who was wrongly convicted and I have been incarcerated since May 1989.”

“During my 31 years of incarnation I have been working in the Chaplain’s office while taking classes along the way.  I obtained my GED and I have received certificates in the following:  Basic Computer Skills, Cognitive Restructuring, Hustlers Anonymous, Relapse Prevention and Conflict Resolution.  I also received an award for my participation in the prison Character Council Committee that organized a truly remarkable stage performance by the inmates. These things have played a major role in my growth and have allowed me to still remain positive as a role model and mentor for other young men who will return home one day.  If I am blessed one day with freedom and given the opportunity, I can be an aid to some young men before they enter prison.”
