I care so much about this because my best friend and I were abused and never got to know the love of parents at an early age when needed the most. 

Nobody cares about things like this and it isn't something that much awareness is brought to. A lot of people just shrug it off when kids ask for help and tell them what is going on in their lives. Many people think that it isn't something that happens in this "perfect" world that everyone believes we live in. When the reality of it all is that so many children cry themselves to sleep at night. And nobody knows it because in most cases the children are not allowed to tell anyone or the beatings will only get worse one time  I asked my babysitter for help and tried to tell her what was going on when she wasn't there and my mother walked in and heard me told her to leave and the beat me with a belt and a tennis racket and then the next day she tied me up and tried to shoot me for some reason god only knows the gun didn't fire and malfunctioned.

 Kids who live in these situations have absolutely nobody and struggle to hide that they are beaten every day. The really sad part of it is that some of them never live long enough to be rescued from the situation that they live in. And they never know the love of someone or what it is like to be held and comforted when they cry or the comfort of real loving parents touch what it feels like to have someone say ¨I love you¨ to them every single day. Millions of people go through torture like this and think that it will never end when with the help of normal people just like you can help them just like I was helped.
