Get Charlotte and Kabul Small Animal Rescue animals out of Afghanistan!

The Issue

I do not know Charlotte or this animal rescue personally, but I have been keeping up with the rescues updates on the following situation. Something NEEDS TO BE DONE NOW.

Charlotte Maxwell-Jones is a US citizen who runs Kabul Small Animal Rescue in Afghanistan and has been left there with NO WAY OUT. Her 130 rescue dogs include military dogs and US citizens’ dogs who left their animals with her so they could flee the country, begging her to get them home for them.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars were raised by people world-wide to get a charter plane there for her and her hundreds of dogs and cats. For so many reasons, the plane fell through. Charlotte was at the airport for SEVEN DAYS with all necessary paperwork for her dogs to leave.

Charlotte was going to finally board her dogs in the cargo area on the last US plane departing the airport, but the Department of Defense passed a policy decision that did not allow the dogs on the plane. The military forcibly released all of Charlotte’s dogs from the plane to die on the tarmac. When they told Charlotte to get on the plane, she was holding a disabled puppy that she refused to put down. They told her she could not board with the puppy, so they instead left her there stranded on the tarmac with her disabled puppy and all of her dogs loose in Kabul. Half of them were only puppies.

None of the dogs will survive on the streets of Kabul, but the military released them anyway and left our own US citizen in Afghanistan with the Taliban. Charlotte has dedicated her entire life to rescuing these helpless animals and some have been with her for years. Tell President Biden and the Department of Defense to get Charlotte and the only rescue puppy she has left OUT OF KABUL.
