Curbside composting, a voluntary program initiated by the Department of Sanitation (DSNY) began rolling out in parts of Brooklyn, like Park Slope and Greenpoint, but has stopped shy in some key areas of Williamsburg. We know that there are many avid compost advocates in the area that we live (West Williamsburg) from North 9th Street south to South 4th Street and west from Kent Avenue to Havemeyer. We want to see curbside composting in our neighborhood ASAP! Join us.
