Florida is a unique and beautiful slice of paradise. I appreciate and admire its unique habitats, rare creatures, and beautiful waterways.

As a contributor to Florida’s biggest economic engine, tourism, I call on Florida’s legislature to protect these precious resources.

I would not visit a Florida where waterways are toxic due to irresponsible practices; entire species of birds, fish and other wildlife are extinct due to lack of protections; and/or places like Miami Beach and the Florida Keys are underwater due to rising seas.

I am concerned that future generations will not have the privilege of knowing the Florida I’ve visited, or that perhaps I may not be able to return.

Should Florida fail to protect its fragile and precious environment from destruction, I would no longer be drawn to spend my hard-earned money in the state.

I want Florida legislators to ban fracking, take action to protect Florida’s waterways, and support renewable energy so that I can continue to visit Florida and enjoy its exceptional attractions.
