The infection rate for Southern Utah is rising unchecked and our healthcare facilities are on the brink of running out of beds. We believe masks are the bare minimum one can do to stand with our communities. We want to encourage Mayor Jon Pike to mandate face masks and to treat the pandemic like the real threat it is, especially to the older and latinx communities who will be the most impacted. It's really the least you can do and something that's easy to remember until the next election cycle. We really hope you make the correct and mature decision.
