We’re partnering with Tree Emergency Response Team of Portland’s Elizabeth Jones Art Center for a creative participatory art event to preserve, protect and celebrate our community’s beautifully forested grove of mature Douglas Fir trees, including a 150-year-old “Mother Tree.” This interconnected grove of towering trees, slated to be cut down in days, or weeks, are superheroes in fighting climate change and have been survival for all urban wildlife who have called their limbs home.
That why we need your expression of love. Your expression of collective power. Your physical presence.
This Saturday, we will come together in art and heart to celebrate the contribution and beauty of this majestic stand.
Bring your masks, paints, pencils, canvas, poster board, markers, crayons and make some activist art with us!
