Sep 10, 2021

Tomorrow, the Tree Emergency Response Team & Concerned Neighbors of Multnomah Village are hosting a creative participatory art event on public property to preserve & protect our community’s beautifully forested grove of mature Douglas Fir trees, including a 100+ year-old “Mother Tree.” This interconnected grove of towering trees, slated to be cut down in days or weeks—by a local builder to make room for two 3,000 sq. ft. homes—are superheroes in fighting climate change and have been survival for all urban wildlife who have called their limbs home.

That why we need your expression of love. Your expression of collective power. Your physical presence. We will come together in art and heart to celebrate the contribution and beauty of this majestic stand.

Bring your masks, paints, pencils, canvas, poster board, markers, crayons and make some activist art with us!
