We, the undersigned fans, players, coaches, officials and citizens of the world, demand the creation of the Global Football Alliance (GFA) — a new, independent, transparent and impartial governing body for international football that will end political double standards, protect the integrity of the Laws of the Game, and guarantee equal treatment for every nation and every player.
Why we act
- African teams and many others have suffered repeated, systemic injustices on football’s biggest stages: inconsistent refereeing, opaque VAR decisions, politicised disciplinary actions, and selective enforcement that alters careers, national pride and tournament outcomes.
- FIFA has repeatedly failed to provide transparent, consistent and accountable governance. When accountability mattered most, decisions appeared influenced by political power and special interests.
- Sport must be fair. If football’s global governing body cannot ensure impartial justice for all, we must build a credible alternative.
What we demand
We call on concerned national associations, continental confederations and sporting stakeholders to urgently establish the Global Football Alliance (GFA), founded on these non‑negotiable principles:
1. Impartiality: Laws of the Game and VAR applied equally, regardless of nation, politics or power.
2. Transparency: Public, date‑stamped decision reports, full VAR review logs and clear on‑screen explanations for every major match intervention.
3. Independent oversight: A permanent, independent Refereeing & Integrity Commission with global regional representation and real powers to investigate and sanction.
4. Democratic governance: One‑member‑one‑vote for national associations, open minutes, audited finances and protections from political interference.
5. Access & fairness: Robust referee training and appointment processes that increase representation from historically marginalised regions.
6. Legal clarity: A fair dispute and appeals process, aligned with international sporting law and free from undue influence.

- Sign this petition to demand that CAF and other like‑minded confederations convene a summit within 30 days to launch a formal process to create GFA and the GFA World Cup.
- Push national associations to join a coalition, commission legal and commercial feasibility studies, and publish a transparent roadmap.
