Stop Johnson & Johnson from testing on animals.

The Issue

Johnson & Johnson is one of the many companies that perform animal testing to ensure that their products are safe and effective. By placing the product on the animal it gives a sense of surety for them to be able to place the product on the market to be sold. Since 2000, the use of animals in their research has decreased over 60 percent, which is, in fact astonishing, according to the U.S Department of Agriculture. However, Johnson & Johnson should be 100 percent cruelty free. Every year, more than 100 million animals— including mice, rabbits, hamsters, dogs and amphibians— are killed in U.S laboratories not only for cosmetic testing but also for medical training, curiosity driven experimentation, and food testing, as reported by veterinarian Madhusree Mukerjee. Many of these poor animals going through all of this torment have their skin burned off or their spinal cords crushed by the intense treatment they receive while going through the process of experimentation. Not only do these animals suffer physically, they also emotionally receive trauma due to their confinement and isolation away from their usual environment.

Johnson & Johnson should stop animal testing so animals won’t suffer any longer because of the experimentation. By simply signing this petition you can save thousands of animal lives each year. The idea is to make this a signal for other companies to stop using animals as testing equipment since Johnson & Johnson is one of the most popular companies. Please sign this petition to get the message out about animal testing and the inhumane treatment these animals receive because of companies that are selfish and don’t necessarily care about the animals. Remember, cruelty free is the way to be.

Here is a short video that sums up why animal testing is not right.
