Johnny Gaudreau, big hearted, huge smile, moved mountains, only 5’ 7”! Johnny was a huge inspiration to countless kids who were always told size matters, you’re too small to make it, you’ll never measure up! I guarantee Johnny Gaudreau heard all those and more all the time growing up, had to fight to prove his worth and show his talent. He may have only been 5’ 7, but he touched a team, a city, a fan base, an entire sport like he was Johnny The Giant. His smile could light the darkest of hearts and bring joy to the longest of faces! I say we let that huge hearted golden smile touch lives for decades to come and honour a dedicated, loving, caring, inspiring man in a truly meaningful way! I believe the Calgary Flames should either retire #13 or bring Johnny in to the Forever A Flame program and and have him look over the ice for good! What this man did for the team, the city, the fans, his family, every person told they were never going to be big enough should be recognized! Sign and show your support to honour this man in a way he deserves! Let his infectious smile live on with a huge shrine dedicated to the life of Johnny in the new event Center!
