Our project is a Betterment to the Springville (Scoby) Dam Fish Passage Project that the US Army Corp of Engineers, NYS DEC, and Erie County Parks have scheduled.  The removal of the significant dam elevation presents the unique opportunity for a whitewater park design to be added to the existing plans. The betterment we are proposing would additionally add river safety; access; habitat restoration; recreation for paddling and fishing; opportunities for swiftwater rescue training, conservation and ecology education; which will bring economic development to our region. http://www.springvillewhitewater.org
