Located in the heart of Bloomington, IN near the south side of IU's campus is the charming and multifaceted Bryan Park.  Here students and community members walk their dogs, play baseball or basketball, or swing around on the playground.  The possibilities for stress-free fun are shadowed however by the lack of lighting on the walkways once the night creeps in.  For all those who take night walks, night runs, or just walk home from the bars, this park is very dark and not as safe as Bloomington should keep it.  We are a group of students who are trying to create a lasting impact on this wonderful community before we graduate, and could think of no better way than to improve the safety of our local amenities. We are calling all to sign this petition, to gain traction in the installment of lights along the pathways through and surrounding the park, so that all feel a little safer while traveling at night.  Thank you for reading and please sign!
